Eli Hale

Eli Hale is a “go-getter," according to Coach Jennifer Franklin at Westover Park Junior High School.

Eli Hale: Westover Park Junior High School

Eli played basketball in the seventh grade and during her eighth grade season played point guard for the girls' “B" team.

Coach Franklin said Eli does a fantastic job of leading her team. Eli's leadership ability is marked by the fact that she sets high standards for herself and always gives 100 percent. She lives out her values and demonstrates concern for everyone and takes the time to encourage and support her teammates.

Her academic success is remarkable. As a seventh grader, Eli was recognized in the top 20 of her class based on her GPA. She was on the A honor roll as a seventh-grader and continued to maintain that straight-A average through the first half of her eighth-grade year. She received the Outstanding Character in English Award last year and is currently in Pre-AP Math, Science and Social Studies classes.

Citizenship and service are also strong facets of Eli's character. She serves on the student council and is on the teacher appreciation committee.

“Eli is an outstanding young lady who truly exemplifies what being a Lady Warrior is all about," Franklin said. The Independent is proud to salute Eli as PowerADE Personal Best Athlete of the Week.
