Paso Fundraiser Cafe Bella to help PASO raise funds on April 22 Cafe Bella will host a wine and dine fundraiser for the Panhandle Aids Support Organization on April 22. The doors for the event at this classy restaurant at 7306 S.W. 34th will open at 6:30 p.m. with the first of the four course to begin at 7 p.m. Chef Arion Canniff designed the menu and will team with Dwayne Westmoreland, owner of The Vineyard Wines, located in Wellington Square, who paired some of the world's best wines to complement Canniff's foods. The first course of the four course dinner will begin at 7:00 PM. During the first course, Canniff will serve Cocceti Sauvignon Blanc, with a Chicken Satay, served with a peanut sauce and cucumber salad. The second course will feature Miso Sake Salmon soup, served with Chateau Ste Michele Chardonnay. The third course and main entree will be a hand cut New York strip steak served with wasabi mashed potatoes and stir-fry vegetables, and will be paired with Gnarly Head Zinfandel. And for dessert: White chocolate and plum wine mouse with raspberry stuffed lychee nuts, served with Silverwing Pinot Noir.
