On the Move: Craig Gualtiere, owner of Roasters Coffee & Tea Co., confirmed Saturday that he will reloacate the iconic Wolflin Village coffee shop to Georgia Street.

The relocation will come in late summer or early fall.

Roasters owner Craig Gualtiere said that the move has been in the works for some time. Plans will be formally announced in a week or two, he said.

Gualtiere gave several reasons for the move including the lack of the drive-up window at the Wolflin Village location and greater exposure and visibility at the location at 1818 S. Georgia, which will offer more space and a larger patio.

"It is a big move," Gualtiere said about leaving Wolflin Village.

"We've been there since 1992."

Although the formal announcement and presentation of the plans for the new coffee house are still being worked out, Gualtiere was able to give some preliminary details.

Since Roasters has been a de facto location for business meetings since its inception, Gualtiere plans a conference room in the new location, offering it for not only business meetings but also for college students' study groups.

A wider array of products and services will also be offered after the move, he said.

Depending on construction progress, Roasters will be in the new location sometime in September, Gualtiere said
