Angie Raper, a fifth-grade student at Carver Academy, is dedicated and determined to do her very best.

The 10-year-old is interested in volleyball and currently plays with a team from San Jacinto Christian Academy.

Her best skill is passing the ball, but she's also a good server.

Angie is in the gifted and talented program at Carver.

She maintained straight A's throughout the last academic year and was commended on all of her TAKS tests.

Angie not only is a bright and bubbly young lady, she also has grasped the importance of hard work at an early age.

She puts a high level of focus on all of her activities and demonstrates a determination to excel.
